Red Rose Awards 2021

This award is open to businesses whose work contributes to our built environment – homes, commercial and industrial premises, green spaces. You can enter this award if you are in the property and construction sectors, including professions and trades. This includes surveyors, architects, developers, building and construction businesses, estate agents, fitters, dry-liners, electricians, and associated businesses.

This award recognises businesses with a stand-out CSR agenda which could include: Covid-19 response, reducing carbon footprint, charitable efforts, or developing your local community.

Open to private and public sector organisations that can demonstrate excellence in customer service.

Open to private and public sector organisations that can demonstrate engagement with their teams and the support and development of their workforce. This may be through apprenticeships, in-house training, flexible working, personal development, workplace wellbeing activity and teambuilding.

Open to businesses that are achieving success through exporting overseas

Open to businesses where majority ownership remains within a family (or multi-family) structure, and where more than one generation contributes to the success of the business.

Open to businesses that can demonstrate effective eco-initiatives either in-house or as a service to others.

Open to organisations in the health and care sectors including dentists, GPs, pharmacies and opticians, domiciliary and residential care, hospitals, physiotherapists and those in the wellbeing and mental health sectors.

Open to businesses that can demonstrate innovation in the way they do business, the way they work with their people, or in product and service development.

Open to businesses in any sector with 100 or more employees.

Open to manufacturing and engineering businesses of all types.

Open to marketing, creative and digital agencies of all sizes, including freelancers. Eligible businesses include those who provide digital marketing platforms, SEO operations, graphic design, PR, marketing, social media, advertising, video, photography and other creative and digital solutions.

Open to businesses with between 21 and 99 employees

Open to businesses of any size and in any sector that began trading after 8 December, 2017.

Open to not-for-personal-profit businesses, social enterprises, CICs, charity and voluntary organisations

Open to businesses that provide legal and financial professional services. These include accountancy firms, IFAs, stockbrokers, funders, corporate recovery businesses, solicitor practices, barristers.

Open to businesses selling products or services either online or in-store.

Open to businesses that can demonstrate at least a 20% increase in turnover scale-up in its latest financial year.

Open to businesses in any sector with up to 20 employees.

Open to businesses within the tourism, attractions, leisure, sports, entertainment, hospitality, dining and accommodation markets.

This will be awarded by the Lancashire Business View team to honour a business that has responded brilliantly to the coronavirus crisis. The shortlist and winner of this award will be announced on the night of the Red Rose Awards.
