The award-winning telecoms provider, Matrix247, are sponsoring the new business award at the Red Rose Awards 2021, the eleventh annual celebration of the Lancashire business community.
Matrix247 has been digitally transforming businesses for 30 years through innovative IT, security, printing, and software solutions.
Stephen Pritchard, CEO of Matrix247, shared with us why they have chosen to sponsor the Red Rose Awards for the first time.
RRA: What changes have you seen in the Red Rose Awards over the years?
SP: The Red Rose Awards has fast become one of Lancashire’s most prestigious awards and it has been incredible to see the growth over the years in terms of attendees on the evening and the quality of entries they receive.
But despite all these changes, what has been great to see is that the awards remain true to celebrating Lancashire’s finest businesses!
RRA: What is the most rewarding part of being a sponsor?
SP: Being able to network and share ideas with a variety of businesses is a fantastic opportunity and we’ve been able to meet so many truly outstanding companies whilst sponsoring the awards.
It has also been incredibly rewarding to play a role in deciding who should win at the Red Rose Awards… even if it’s challenging to decide from so many great candidates!
RRA: How do you feel that the Red Rose Awards benefit Lancashire?
SP: After the challenges we have all faced during COVID-19, the awards are a perfect opportunity to shine a spotlight on how Lancashire businesses have continued to thrive in these unprecedented times.
RRA: How do you feel that your involvement with the Red Rose Awards benefits Matrix247?
SP: Sponsoring the Red Rose Awards gives us an opportunity to showcase our commitment to Lancashire and celebrate the fantastic work that is being done by finalists who, like us, are passionate about providing the highest quality service to clients in their respective industries.
It also gives us visibility within the Lancashire business community and is a great opportunity to network with a wide range of businesses and build strong relationships going forward.
Since the awards were launched in 2011, it has steadily grown and become the centrepiece attraction for the business community.
Entries for the awards have now closed. The finalists were announced on Friday 10 September and are available to view here. All finalists were given the opportunity to put their best case to the judges on September 22 and 23.
On Thursday 25 November, the winners for this year’s Red Rose Awards will be announced at Winter Gardens, Blackpool. For more details, visit www.redroseawards.co.uk
