Lancashire firms celebrate at Red Rose Awards 2016 winner’s reception

March 2016 2016

Triumphant businesses from across Lancashire have celebrated their Red Rose Awards successes at the official winner’s reception held at Barton Grange Hotel.
Representatives of winners of each of the 26 categories attended the event which featured a review of the big night and certificate presentations, as well as providing opportunities to meet, network and do business with fellow winners, as well as those that were highly commended, sponsors, judges and other guests.

Event founder and producer, Richard Slater, who is also the publisher of Lancashire Business View, said: “It has been another fantastic Red Rose Awards, now in our sixth year celebrating Lancashire Business to an audience of more than 1,100 for the third year running.

“The event acknowledges business excellence, provides the best possible platforms to share successes, and encourage trade in the county and hosting a winner’s reception, which puts all of these great businesses together in one room, supports that vision.

“The awards, held at Winter Gardens Blackpool, is the largest event of its kind in the county, which means lots of potential customers, collaborators and suppliers to make friends with, because if you can buy it in Lancashire, then do so!”

Daniel Rich, general manager of the Barton Grange Hotel, said: “It’s a real honour for the Barton Grange Hotel to host such a prestigious event and to welcome all the worthy winners.

“The Red Rose Awards are very special in that the quality of all the entrants is second to none and they clearly demonstrate just how vibrant and innovative the business community is in Lancashire.

“The calibre of the award entries just gets better year after year and that’s testament to the fantastic work that takes place in Lancashire across lots of sectors.  Everyone at the hotel is extremely proud of living and working in such a beautiful county.”

The charity partner for Red Rose Awards 2016 was Cash for Kids, with more than £9,000 being raised on the night towards supporting young people in the county.
