Red Rose Awards unveils new sponsors

December 2017 2018

The Red Rose Awards, Lancashire’s most anticipated and successful celebration of the county’s business excellence, has announced the latest wave of organisations to sign up as event sponsors.

The national award-winning awards will highlight the success of businesses across 26 categories and the call is now on for entries.

The winners will be revealed at a glittering celebration at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens in March, one of the most highly-anticipated evenings of the year. More than 1,100 attended the 2017 event.

And now the organisers can reveal that Blackpool and Fylde College, EPSL Educational Printing, Eventus Legal and Birchall Foodservice have all pledged their support.

They join headline sponsors Forbes Solicitors and Barclays in supporting the county-wide event.

David Pickering, managing director of EPSL Educational Printing, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Skills Provider Award at The Red Rose Awards 2018. Equipping people with the rights skills is essential to help businesses succeed and create a thriving regional economy and there are so many amazing organisations, institutions and people that are committed to developing our county’s future and current workforce.

“After entering the awards last year, and thoroughly enjoying the entire process, we wanted to get more involved to help recognise and celebrate the great and the good of Lancashire.

“EPSL Educational Printing was established in Blackburn more than four decades ago and we provide millions of exercise books and other resources to schools across the UK and beyond and are honoured to be part of the educational journey of tomorrow’s workforce. We are also proud to be part of such a unique and vibrant business community, and what better way to mark that than by being part of the Red Rose Awards?”

Siobhan Courtney, managing director of Eventus Legal, added: “I sponsored the legal award in 2017 for the first time, it was a fabulous experience in terms of promoting the profile for Eventus Legal amongst the industry we work in, but also it is great to be part of a process that is so comprehensive and professionally organised and also great fun.

“The excitement the awards create both during the process and especially on the night is infectious. When I was asked to be the sponsor again for 2018 for the Law firm of the year award, I was honoured and delighted to accept.”

Businesses interesting in entering the awards have until midnight on January 12 to submit their nominations. Click here to enter now!
