Lancashire’s biggest celebration of business is a 1,100+ sell-out – for the third consecutive year!
Red Rose Awards, which was first launched in 2011, takes place at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on March 10.
Guests will enjoy a lively evening, with various rooms utilised at Winter Gardens including the Empress Ballroom, where the dinner and ceremony take place, and also the Floral Pavilion and the Arena, where a post-awards party will be staged.
There are 26 categories at the Awards with six finalists competing for each trophy.
The event has earned a reputation as a lively, fast-paced evening and the key networking opportunity for businesses across the county. In 2014 it was honoured as the UK’s best business awards event at the national PPA Connect Awards and was a finalist in 2015.
Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View magazine, which stages the awards, said: “We set out to celebrate excellence and connect businesses to promote trade in the county.
“Everything you need to run a successful business can be supplied from the county and we see it as our role, through the magazine and at events like Red Rose Awards, to showcase the great businesses we have.”
Guests will be asked to abide by the night’s three golden rules: take business seriously, but enjoy it; if you can buy it in Lancashire, buy it in Lancashire; and no long speeches!
Those who missed out on tickets can follow the event on social media using the #RRA16 Twitter hashtag and @RedRoseAwards account. The 2015 event trended on Twitter, bringing a national focus to the county’s business community.
