Small Business Award

Sponsored by

Open to businesses in any sector with up to 20 employees.

Category criteria

2020 was a year like no other. The pandemic has brought new challenges, new opportunities, new ways of working.

Every business has a story to tell. Red Rose Awards 2021 wants to share those stories.

The winner of this award will be able to demonstrate its 2020 achievements in terms of its own measures of success.

Growth is a typical measure but this year we are as interested in hearing how businesses have changed to meet the challenges – and opportunities – of the pandemic.

Judges will also be interested in how you are investing and developing new products, services, techniques, skills and processes to meet changing demands; and how you are maintaining and increasing your operations in established and new markets.

Notes:

  • Entrants must have no more than 20 full time (or full time equivalent) employees
  • Judges are looking for businesses with a great story to tell, whatever the sector they operate in.

When will the finalists be announced?

All finalists will be notified on Friday 10 September 2021 by email.

The information will also be available on the website and through our social media channels.
