RSM backs Red Rose Awards as judging partner

March 2022 Event News

Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has been announced as the official judging partner of the Red Rose Awards 2022.

This support enables the programme to retain its comprehensive and impartial judging, a process key to the Red Rose Awards becoming the biggest business awards event in Lancashire over the last decade.

Unique to the Red Rose Awards, all hopeful entrants who make the shortlist are given free training in how best to put their best case forward. They will then give face-to-face presentations before a hand-picked panel of judges.

The judging process brings together hopeful entrants, sponsors, supporters and other influential figures from the business community for a one-of-a-kind networking experience. This year’s presentations will take place on April 27 and 28.

The judging panel will then select their winners, which are kept top secret until being announced on stage at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on June 9.

Stephen Bolton of the Red Rose Awards says: “The judging process is one of the most important aspects of our awards programme. Not only is it a fantastic networking opportunity, it’s also what underlines our integrity. In handing over the selection of the winners to impartial judges we are able to ensure that only the most deserving businesses will walk away with trophies on the night.

“That’s why we are delighted to have a company of RSM’s standing supporting us. We have worked with them for many years and we are looking forward to benefitting from their input into this year’s awards.”

Kevin Duffy, regional managing partner for RSM in the North West said “We are focused on growing our market share in Lancashire, creating jobs for Lancashire people and investing in the region. The Red Rose Awards has helped us to achieve our objectives by giving us an opportunity to build our brand, create deep and long lasting relationships and support the Lancashire economy.”

The entries for this year's awards are now closed. The shortlisted organisations will be announced on April 4.
