Responsible Business Award

This award recognises businesses and organisations that take a responsible approach to how they operate, with a clear commitment to environmental and social impact. 

It is open to organisations of all sizes and sectors that can demonstrate practical action to reduce their environmental impact, support people and communities, and create wider positive value. 

Judges will be looking for businesses where responsible practice is part of everyday decision-making and long-term thinking, rather than treated as a separate initiative. 

Judges will want to see: 

• Practical action to reduce environmental impact  
• Positive impact on employees, communities or wider society  
• Clear evidence of outcomes and measurable progress  
• Leadership commitment and employee involvement  
• How responsible business practice is being built into the organisation for the long term, with clear goals and a practical way of tracking progress
